Group Bookings

For group bookings, including school excursions, corporate outings, or community organisations, please contact the Box Office directly on (03) 9217 2317 or boxoffice@pracc.com.au. We can assist with seating arrangements and special access needs.

Hiring a Space

PRACC offers a range of versatile spaces for performances, meetings, conferences, and private events. Visit our Venue Hire page or email events@pracc.com.au for pricing, availability, and tour bookings.

Late Arrival

If you arrive after the performance has started, you may be asked to wait until a suitable break or interval before being admitted to the theatre. This is to minimise disruption to other patrons and performers.

In some cases, late entry may not be permitted depending on the type of performance. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your event to allow time for parking, scanning tickets, and finding your seat.

Lost and found

Losing things is never fun. If we find any items during an event, we hold on to them at Box Office for 30 days unless claimed.

Merchandise

Select performances may have merchandise available for sale in the foyer. Availability varies by event. EFTPOS is available for most merchandise purchases.

Mobile Phones / Devices

We ask all guests to switch mobile phones and other electronic devices to silent before the performance begins. Flash photography, video recording, and loud device use are not permitted during shows.

Parking

We offer hundreds of free car parks within walking distance to PRACC, making your visit convenient and accessible.

The main car park is located directly in front of the venue and provides the easiest access to our front entrance and Box Office. Additional free parking is available throughout the Civic Centre precinct, including near the Whittlesea Council offices and Civic North Building.

Accessible parking bays are located closest to the main entrance and are reserved for vehicles displaying a valid disability permit. These spaces offer step-free access into the building.

During peak times or large-scale events, parking can become busy. We recommend arriving early to allow time to find a space, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area.

PRACC is also easily accessible via public transport, so consider catching the train or bus for a stress-free experience.

Payment Options

We accept most major credit and debit cards, EFTPOS, and contactless payments. Cash is accepted at the Box Office and café/bar. Some merchandise vendors may be cash-only—please check on the day.

Performance Effects

Some performances may feature strobe lighting, smoke/haze effects, or loud sounds. Notices will be displayed on event listings prior to your ticket purchase.

Prams

Prams are not permitted in theatre aisles or walkways during performances, as they can obstruct access and pose a safety risk.

If you’re attending a show with a young child, our staff will happily assist you in finding a safe and convenient location to store your pram during the performance. Children under two years may attend most performances free of charge, provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.

For further assistance or questions, please don’t hesitate to speak to our front-of-house team on arrival.

Recycling

General waste and recycling bins are located throughout the facility for easy guest access. Please deposit all plastic, paper products and cans in the designated recycling receptacles. We're committed to environmental sustainability.

Refunds & Exchanges

All ticket sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are only available if an event is cancelled or rescheduled. Please double-check your date and time at the point of purchase.

Reselling tickets

The resale of tickets is not approved by PRACC. Please be aware of ticket resellers (i.e. scalper) websites – PRACC is the only authentic and official ticketing services of PRACC. Purchasers should pay particular attention to the actual URL and website they’re using to purchase event tickets. All other websites could be fraudulent or ticket speculators.

Running Times & Intermissions

Running times, intermissions, and finish times vary by performance and may be subject to change. Please check event listings or contact the Box Office on the day of your performance for the most up-to-date information.

Ticket policy

Event tickets are a revocable license subject to termination with denial of admission at the management’s discretion upon refund of the purchase price. License is subject to revocation with denial of admission or removal of the facility, without compensation, should the holder violate management’s rules or regulations. Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued whether occurring prior to, during or after the same, including without limitation, injury from acts of others, etc., and the ticket holder agrees the facility, promoter, organisation, agent, artist or participants, the ticketing agent and/or related persons are not responsible or liable for any injury, expense or claim of liability resulting from or related to such causes. Holder grants permission to the facility and organisation sponsoring event or his/her designee to utilise holders’ image or likeness in connection with any broadcast or other reproduction of this event.

Ticket scanning

We scan barcodes on most event tickets. Tickets purchased online and in advance of your event will be available in your account (via website) and can be added to your digital wallet for tapping/scanning.

Purchasing from unauthorized websites and third-party sellers/re-sellers may involve counterfeit or previously used tickets, which could result in denial of entry.

Troubleshooting Tickets

If you haven’t received your Ticket, check your spam/junk folder first. If it’s not there, contact our Box Office and we’ll resend your confirmation or assist with entry on the day of the event.

Unaccompanied Minors

Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while attending performances at PRACC.

Umbrellas

Due to space restrictions, please limit yourself to bringing only small sized (telescoping) umbrellas. Large (golf) umbrellas aren't allowed in the theatre.

Walking Frames and Wheelchairs

For the safety and comfort of all guests, walking frames and wheelchairs (when not in use) cannot remain in theatre walkways or aisles during performances.
Guests who prefer to remain in their wheelchair during the performance are welcome to do so—accessible seating options are available. However, if the wheelchair is not being used for seating, our team will safely store it nearby and return it to you after the show.

We understand how important mobility aids are, and our staff are always available to assist with access, storage, and retrieval.

Wi-Fi Access

Free public Wi-Fi is available in the foyer and public areas. Speeds may vary depending on usage.
